A locally owned business in Bracebridge has gone through a big expansion thanks to some help from the town.
This morning, Elise Boyer celebrated the official opening of her new expansion at Veranda on Manitoba Street.
Boyer says the town was very helpful in providing her an opportunity to take advantage of the Community Improvement Fund.
Boyer says it was very important to her to preserve many of the historical features of the old building.
Mayor Graydon Smith was on hand to cut the ribbon to the new portion of Veranda.
