Motorcyclist survives crash, airlifted to Toronto with non-life threatening injuries

A man has been airlifted to a Toronto-area hospital following a collision on Highway 118 East in Muskoka.

The 59-year-old Minden Hills man crashed his motorcycle around 6:00pm Wednesday evening.

Emergency crews transported the man to the Muskoka Airport where he was then airlifted to a Toronto-area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Officers say the man lost control of the motorcycle and hit the guard rail, before he was thrown from the bike.
