District of Muskoka ratifies four-year agreement with CUPE

Inside and Outside Canadian Union Public Employees members now have a new four-year agreement with the District of Muskoka.
On Tuesday, officials with the district announced the deal had been ratified between the union and district officials.
Over the next four years staff will see a 1.5% increase in wages and then 1.6% increase in the fourth year.
This deal affects 200 staff members with the District of Muskoka.
CAO Michael Duben commented this deal works with the fiscal challenges faced by the district while still offering an attractive deal for new and continuing employees.
