Renovations to the Chemotherapy, Supportive Care & Infusion Clinic at Huntsville Hospital are underway. MAHC says the clinic is being expanded to the nearby rehab gym to serve all systemic chemotherapy infusion patients.
Upgrades include new entertainment devices, create more open space between treatment chairs, each treatment space will have a computer station for staff to update patient records, a new work station for staff, a barrier-free washroom, new paint and flooring. During renovation, oncology care services will be done in the recovery room on the first floor of the hospital.
The newly renovated clinic is expected to open on June 16th. This expansion is funded by the Huntsville Hospital Foundation and the North Simcoe Muskoka LHIN’s Hospital Infrastructure Renewal Fund.
