The Dorset Lions Club is looking to fix up a local facility and will ask for township support.
Today at the Township of Lake of Bays council meeting, the Lions Club will present its plan to transform the baseball diamond into a half-court basketball facility. The rest of the area would receive green space with a walking path, making it more of a recreational park.
The Lions Club will discuss funding and a completion date.
The meeting will be held at 9:30am inside the municipal office in Dwight.
