Bracebridge man goes from cooperative to aggressive during police investigation

An aggressive driver showed his best impression of Jekyll and Hyde with Bracebridge OPP.

On Saturday night, police were called when a driver was spotted on Muskoka Road 118 with a couch on his roof, driving aggressively.

Following up on the complaint, police found the vehicle backing into a plaza and stopped to question the driver.

Officials say the suspect then went from being cooperative to becoming completely aggressive and fighting with police to get free.

The 24-year-old Bracebridge man faces a list of charges including dangerous driving, stealing a vehicle and assault on a peace officer.

He was held in custody over the weekend before appearing in court Monday morning.
