The Town of Bracebridge is continuing to show its support for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Muskoka.
On Monday, Bracebridge officials along with Mayor Graydon Smith met with Big Brothers Big Sisters to present a cheque for $1,500 to the organization.
Executive Director Rebecca Paul says this money will be important in expanding volunteer recruitment.
Paul says they generally see volunteer numbers drop in the summer, but the need of kids still stays the same or continues to rise.
She says summer is an ideal time to be a big due to all the events held across the Muskoka region.
