The Gravenhurst Rotary Club has selected three new students from the local high school to be recognized for their work.
During the last meeting, Abi Cameron, Elisabeth Edwards and Mason Labrash of Gravenhurst High School were selected as the students of the month.
Each student was selected for their time, volunteer work and leadership within the school environment.
Elisabeth Edwards has been a constant hard worker in and out of school volunteering as a G7 representative and student Deputy Prime Minister. According to Rotary officials she has also worked in bringing together prom, as well as found time to rehearse and take part in the school production of Gypsy.
Abi Cameron is well known for her positive attitude and great sense of humor among the teachers at GHS. She works as a positive role model by always offering help and taking each task given to her in stride.
And officials say Mason Labrash is no stranger in the kitchen, working as a positive role model to other students. He spends time making sure the dishes are done and is always prepared for every class.
