It’s the return of the Greavettes at the Vintage Boat Show this year in Gravenhurst.
The boat brand ran strong for over 40 years in the region and organizers with the event have invited Greavette boat owners to bring their treasures back to the town where they were created.
Antique and Classic Boat Show volunteer Jan Getson says there may still be some people who worked on these boats living in Muskoka.
Getson says you don’t have to be a member to enjoy this show of classic boats and entry cost gets you into the show and the Muskoka Discovery Centre for the day, and a chance to get on the Winonah II, with limited seating.
The boat show kicks off on July 9th at the Muskoka Wharf at 9:00am.
If you’re interested in joining the ACBS, Getson says you can do so whether you own a boat or not.
The group is meant for all types of boat enthusiasts.
