Toronto Police Thanking Huntsville Man for Helping to Stop an Assault

Toronto police is thanking a Huntsville man for his part in stopping an assault on an officer in the city.

Toronto police say on Tuesday afternoon an officer was seen being attacked on Elm Street. Huntsville native and local contractor Randy Blain was driving in the area and saw what was happening. He pulled over and tackled the suspect.  Police were then able to arrest the officer’s attacker.

Toronto police is thanking Blain for assisting in the arrest.

Blain’s wife posted on her Facebook page that she is extremely proud of her husband.
