Two local craft breweries are getting a boost thanks to some government funding.
The federal and provincial governments will be investing over $1.6 million into 20 companies in the craft beer industry. It was announced Lake of Bays Brewery will receive just over $135,000 for new equipment and marketing tools. Muskoka Brewery will receive just over $239,000 for re-branding, marketing, and core communication strategies.
This funding is meant to help these businesses expand and grow.
