Jodi O’Donnell can breathe a little easier now that the remains of her brother have finally been returned home to Muskoka.
Joseph O’Donnell was found dead in his apartment in Ukraine on May 24th, and Jodi had to raise the funds to pay for the return of not only his remains but his pregnant wife.
She says there was some hold up on the Ukrainian officials side, but on Sunday Joseph was returned to Bracebridge.
His wife has been in Bracebridge since the beginning of June, and O’Donnell says they are all trying to focus on the new baby now.
O’Donnell will be holding a memorial service for friends and supporters on July 2nd at St. Joseph’s Church in Bracebridge.
There will also be a viewing at the Salvation Army in Bracebridge from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on June 30th.
