The Town of Gravenhurst is restructuring its departments following the retirement of the director of economic development and communications.
Town CAO Glen Davies says they will be splitting the two components once overseen by Renato Romanin into different departments.
Economic Development will be integrated into Development Services and Communications will now be overseen by the Recreation, Arts and Culture Department.
Davies believes this corporate restructuring will help create synergy within these departments.
These changes will take place on July 1st and Davies will assess the changes at the end of the year.
