Three local groups have received Tobacco-Free Champion 2016 Awards by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit.
The Muskoka Condominium Corporation #34 in Bracebridge has been recognized alongside the Community Action Program for Children in Simcoe County and the Tobacco Cessation Task Force of Muskoka Algonquin Health Care.
These groups were recognized for their hard work to reduce preventable deaths and diseases caused by tobacco.
