If you’ve ever wanted to be a politician now may be your chance. The Township of Lake of Bays is accepting applications for an empty seat on council until the end of next week.
The Sinclair-Finlayson seat is still empty and staff is taking applications until Friday, June 17th.
The term of office will run until the next municipal election in the fall of 2018.
A special council meeting will be held on June 28th to interview the applicants. Councillors will then vote on the candidate to fill the seat.
Applications can be dropped off at the chamber office in Dwight.
