Following the long weekend, staff with Watt Public School returned to a major mess.
On Tuesday they discovered the school yard had been vandalized by what appears to have been a vehicle doing donuts.
Principal Rob Dennys says there was quite a lot of damage left behind.
He says this isn’t the first time this has happened, with a similar incident being reported to police following Labour Day Weekend last year.
Dennys says it is a costly clean up that takes a lot of time and effort.
The police have been notified about this incident, which Dennys believes happened sometime Friday evening.
The school is considering putting in security features like cameras and fencing.
