Police discover child pornography while investigating military veteran impersonator

An Orillia man has been charged after allegedly posing as a military veteran at various Legion parades.
Orillia OPP report they searched 62-year-old Clayton Donoghue’s home and a storage locker on Monday, while following up on the complaints from the Royal Canadain Legion and the Canadian Armed Forces.
As police were searching, they discovered items related to accessing child pornography.
The 62-year-old faces a list of charges including having forged documents, unlawful use of military uniform, obstructing a public officer and accessing and having child pornography.
Donoghue made his first appearance in court in Barrie today for a bail hearing.
