District of Muskoka Chair John Klinck wants to know more about the cause of the fires in Muskoka.
On Thursday, more than half a dozen fires broke out between Gravenhurst and Huntsville, with fire officials suspecting the cause was a train car which had caught fire while passing through Gravenhurst.
The train car in question was engulfed in flames in Huntsville and firefighters managed to put it out, along with all the other fires in the region.
Klinck wants to get in touch with CN officials and get some type of explanation for the cause of this event.
