Charges are pending for a contractor believed to have started a forest fire in Dorset.
Huntsville/Lake of Bays Fire Department says Thursday afternoon crews along with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry battled a large bush fire approximately four hectares in size. The area affected was near Raven Lake. The fire was caused by a contractor burning during restricted hours.
Water bombs were also brought in provided by the MNRF.
