A Stouffville man has been fined for illegal ice fishing.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry says on March 13th, the man was fishing on Livingstone Lake near Dorset when officers inspected the man’s lines. It found he had been angling with extra lines and they were more than 60 metres away from his location.
He was fined a total of $1,000 for the incident and received a six-month angling ban.
