Cooler temperatures could affect small or sensitive plants in Muskoka

You may want to cover your gardens this evening as cooler-than-usual temperatures move through the region.

Environment Canada is warning we could see a possibility of frost, however the likelihood of that may be prevented by moderate winds and a cloudy sky tonight.

Whether or not frost develops, officials say the temperature will dip below the freezing point in some areas and this will affect sensitive and small plants.

These temperatures will mostly affect the Huntsville and Baysville areas.

The weather service is also calling for a chance of flurries overnight.

We may not see the more seasonal temperatures return until Wednesday.
