A respiratory outbreak at the Birch Home in The Pines in Bracebridge has led to some visitor restrictions.
Officials say there have been two new cases documented and that Public Health says the facility should be considered in outbreak status.
Family and friends are asked to avoid visiting residents in the Birch Home during this time, until the illnesses clear up.
There will also be precautious put in place for cleaning and other activities in order to stop the spread of the illness.
