The North East Local Health Integration Network has approved a children’s health centre in northeastern Ontario.
NEO Kids is northeastern Ontario’s hub for specialized children’s care located in Health Sciences North in Sudbury.
This week, the construction of a $50 million dollar building was approved by the North East LHIN and NEO Kids will now work with the LHIN and the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care on final approval and funding for the construction.
The NEO Kids Centre will be designed and built specifically for children and will look and function differently from adult centres, offering an exclusive kid-friendly experience for our young patients and families.
