The MNRF says two men are facing a total of $5,000 in fines for illegally shooting a bull moose.

The one man from Baysville was fined $2,500 for hunting without a license, $250 for unlawfully using another person’s license and $1,000 for misleading an officer.

Another man, also from Baysville was fined $1,000 for misleading statements to an officer. He received a one-year suspension from hunting big game.
