The mayor of Huntsville would like to see something done to a plaza in the downtown area.
The area across from Tim Horton’s and the Mac’s Convenience Store just off Main Street has been unoccupied since the Beer Store moved out last November.
With one business remaining and a parking lot full of pot-holes, Huntsville Mayor Scott Aitchison says he would like to see improvements but it all has to start with a private developer.
He says he’s heard a range of ideas from the community such as redevelopment or creating a park.
