An Oro-Medonte man is over $100,000 richer after picking the winning ticket for Lotto 6/49.
In August last year, Ronald Kajiura purchased his ticket from the Canadian Tire Gas Bar in Barrie.
Following the draw, Kajiura had checked his ticket numbers online and had assumed he had only won $100.
He says when he went to check it with a local retailer he couldn’t believe how much he had actually won, just over $130,000.
Now that he has claimed his prize money, Kajiura would like to buy a new vehicle and take a trip to his home province of British Columbia.
