If you’re looking for a free ride this summer, Muskoka Extended Transit has you covered.
Over May and June, anyone interested in using the transit service will be able to ride for free on any of the routes.
The District of Muskoka is taking on this initiative to help raise awareness of the benefits of the transit service, which connects smaller communities in Muskoka to larger ones.
District officials are hoping former and new riders will take the time to give some feedback on their experiences as well.

The MET is a pilot project which is being provincially funded until 2017.
