Highway 11 construction to cause congestion this July in Bracebridge

Traffic may be congested in Muskoka this summer as the MTO prepares to take on a major project on Highway 11 in Bracebridge.

Starting on July 5th, Fowler Construction will begin work on Highway 11 between North Muskoka River Bridge and South Mary Lake Road.

MTO representative Gordon Rennie says due to the nature of the work, drivers can expect delays over the summer.

The project is expected to last until November of 2017, so drivers can expect similar delays next summer as well.
