If you felt a bit of rumbling this morning in the Bracebridge area you weren’t alone.
A few residents took to the Facebook Page ‘Let’s Make Bracebridge Great Again’ to comment on the vibrations, which some felt resembled a small earthquake.
President of Fowler Construction Maureen Miller says it was just some early morning blasting that her company had set off at their Rosewarne Quarry.
Miller adds they usually do some blasting in the afternoon, but are preparing for a busy construction season this summer.
She says there is a list of residents they contact to warn them about any blasting activity.
