Muskoka hires new Chief of Paramedic Services for direct ambulance delivery service

The District of Muskoka has taken the next big step in preparing to take over ambulance service in the region.

The new Chief of Paramedic Services and Emergency Planning has been hired as the latest district staff member.

Jeff McWilliam will be leaving his position as Deputy Chief for County of Simcoe Paramedic Services to take on this new role.

McWilliam is a Muskoka resident and District CAO Michael Duben says he will play a key role in ensuring a successful transition of paramedic services in Muskoka.

Direct delivery ambulance service from the district will kick off on September 4th.
