Students at Bracebridge and Muskoka Lakes Secondary School were sporting mix of colours on Wednesday in support of Rainbow Day.
The event was put together by the Gay Straight Alliance group to bring more awareness to the LGTBQ community and the need for more support and acceptance.
Moose FM hit the hallways of BMLSS to find out why students were supporting the event.
During Rainbow Day students were also given an opportunity to see a performance by To Be Determined from Guelph University.
There was also an informational table set up with LGTBQ terms and definitions.
