There are two local public schools in Muskoka who were successful at a grade eight challenge.
The Trillium Lakelands District School Board says Riverside Public School in Huntsville finished in first place at the Cardboard Boat Challenge held at BMLSS. The four students created a boat which held the most weight at 488 pounds.
Monck Public School in Bracebridge finished in third place.
