There will be a piece of Muskoka history coming to Dwight.
The Township of Lake of Bays says an artist will re-create one of Tom Thompson’s local landscape pieces into a mural. The painting will be permanently placed on the side of the Dwight Community Centre.
This is to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Canada as well as the 100th anniversary of the death of Tom Thompson.
