Gravenhurst and Bracebridge have both shown their support to recognize World Autism Day.
On Monday officials from both communities raised flags to recognize the international initiative that kicked off last Saturday.
Mayor Graydon Smith was joined by students, teachers and parents from Macauly Public School, Monck Public School, BMLSS and Monsignor Michael O’Leary Public School to raise the flag at the Bracebridge Municipal Office.
Meanwhile, Deputy Mayor Jeff Watson of Gravenhurst was joined by volunteers to raise their own flag.
Municipalities across Muskoka and Parry Sound all joined in with their own awareness events as well.
