The Town of Huntsville says water levels are dropping in the downtown core.
Officials say high water levels are on a slow and steady decline and are expected to continue as the flow gets through the system. Huntsville/Lake of Bays Fire Department Fire Prevention Officer Mike Vadlja says levels are going down.
He says the levels don’t expect to be as high as 2013 like early suspected.
Vadlja adds this should not eliminate the fact that property owners should still take the right precautions to keep their property safe.
