Flood water coupled with a quick freeze has caused some major damage to boathouses on Lake Joseph and Muskoka Lake.
Muskoka Crib Docks owner Ralph McMullen says he has received a number of calls about boathouses being damaged.
He says the most important thing is to get your boat out before the damage gets any worse.
McMullen says there is unfortunately no way to prevent your boathouse from getting damaged.
He says repairs can only be done once the water has receded.
