Water levels declining across the region according to MNRF

River flows in Muskoka have peaked and are currently going down.

This from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, which has provided an update on water levels across the region for Monday.

According to officials, rising levels in lakes across the region have either slowed significantly or stopped.

While there may be some more snow and rain in the forecast for the next few weeks, the ministry is not concerned about the impact on water levels at this point.
