Flooding continues to affect roads in Muskoka over weekend

There are many roads across Muskoka that are still difficult to navigate or are impassable due to high water levels.

On Friday morning, Highway 141 near Rosseau was washed out causing major delays for traffic in the area.

The MTO has since replaced the culvert and traffic is running normally.

Meanwhile, the District of Muskoka continues to provide updates on road conditions and reports Cooper’s Falls Road has one lane open.

Gravenhurst is reporting that while levels in Black Lake, Kashe Lake and Severn River have increased, the majority of flooding on roads has subsided.

There are still a number of roads with water over top, but officials say they are passable.

For Bracebridge: Vankoughnet Road, Miriam Road and Black River Road are closed.

Huntsville crews have been able to clear a few of their flooded roads as well.
