With a flood warning in effect and a lot of rain still to fall, Bracebridge town officials are getting prepared for any possibility over the next few days.
Director of Public Works Walter Schmid says river levels are lower than what was originally expected.
Schmid says by Friday morning, water levels in the rivers could be breaking the banks.
Schmid says Fowler Construction is prepared to start filling sandbags in case they are necessary for properties in Bracebridge.
If sandbags are necessary, they will be available through Fowler during the day on Friday.
Schmid says there are already a few roads like Campbell and Germania which are flooded.
