Explorers’ Edge seeking stakeholder input on Muskoka regional flights

A Muskoka tourism organization is hoping to hear some public opinion on the possibility of running regional air service at the Muskoka Airport in Gravenhurst.

On April 12th and 13th, Explorers’ Edge will be holding two public sessions for stakeholders and tourism operators.

Executive Director James Murphy says they are hoping to discuss the pros and cons of regional flights.

Murphy says one important piece of this project is implementing security screening.

The first session is geared toward airport stakeholders and the second for tourism operators.

However, Murphy says anyone interested is invited to attend.

Both sessions run from 5:00pm to 7:00pm for each day.
