Rainfall warning continues in the Parry Sound Muskoka region

The rain warning for Parry Sound and Muskoka continues.

Environment Canada says periods of rain, at times heavy, will continue today with total rainfall amounts of 30 to 60 mm expected.

There is also the risk of an isolated thunderstorm in the Port Carling, Bracebridge, Port Severn, and Gravenhurst areas this afternoon or tonight.

Everyone is warned to avoid driving through water on roads as even shallow, fast-moving water across a road can sweep a vehicle or a person away and stay away from washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts.
