Help send a kid to camp

The District of Muskoka is helping with a summer camp fundraiser for parents who can’t afford to send their children to camp. According to the District of Muskoka, in 2010, 1 in 10 children belonged to households that were experiencing deprivation. Many families in Ontario are forced to content with staggering unemployment levels, low-wage work, and unaffordable housing costs. On the May 29th from 5pm until 7pm at the Rene Caisse Theatre in Bracebridge, a summer camp fundraiser is happening where people can make donations in person. Donations can also be made online. For more information on the online fundraising campaign you can watch their video or you can go to go fund me.
