Gravenhurst is looking to celebrate nearly a century of one of the most recognizable historical properties in the community.

On April 1st, the town will be recognizing the 90th anniversary of the Gravenhurst Post Office and 85th birthday of the clock tower.

Town officials and Canada Post are inviting all residents to join in the celebration.

The building will be commemorated as a culturally significant property to the town, with a special plaque presented to Canada Post by the town.

The dedication ceremony will start off at noon, followed by a reception afterwards.
