There will not be any drastic changes in the Dorset Waterfront Plan says one official with the Township of Lake of Bays.
The township has partnered together with consultants and the community to improve the waterfront area. Earlier this month a meeting was held as results from the online survey were presented.
Residents in the area showed they would like to see opportunities to enhance arts, culture and tourism.
Economic Development Coordinator Jennifer Pilon says there are a lot of things residents and visitors love about Dorset and the idea of the plan is just to refine the area.
Pilon explains what comes after the draft is presented next week.
The public is encouraged to attend one of the two meetings. The first one will be held at 2:00pm at the Dorset Recreation Centre or an evening meeting at 7:00pm at the Dorset Seniors Centre.
