Flooding still a concern as rain is expected for the rest of the week

Flooding is still a concern in Muskoka and Parry Sound. Bracebridge’s emergency control group issued a statement Friday saying water levels on the South Branch, Lake Muskoka and the Muskoka River between Wellington Street Bridge and Lake Muskoka are slowly rising. In other areas, the North Branch of the Muskoka River is holding steady, while Black River levels are down. Environment Canada says starting tomorrow, rain is possible for the rest of the week.
