Huntsville raised over $5,000 on McHappy Day

It certainly was a McHappy Day in Huntsville. Yesterday, McDonald’s restaurants across the country took part in the event, where $1 from every Big Mac, Happy Meal and hot drink sold went to local charities.

The two locations in Huntsville were busy all day, raising money for Ronald McDonald House. Over $5,200 was raised. Manager Andy Cooke says they couldn’t have done it without the volunteers.

Combined with totals in Bracebridge, Gravenhurst and Parry Sound, over $17,500 was raised.
