Huntsville Animal Shelter is in the reopening process

It looks like you want an animal shelter in Huntsville again. Animal Shelter for Huntsville’s Board Chair Peter Reeves says the board recently released a survey asking residents their thoughts on possibly reopening.

Almost 80 per cent of those who responded also said they would contribute to the shelter’s sustainability on a monthly basis. The board is now going through the process of reopening. Reeves says they are taking it stage by stage.

The shelter’s current stage is finding the right people to be a board of director. Reeves says they’re looking to revamp the board and have members with various skills who can contribute to the success of the shelter’s reopening.
