Police Say Speed was a Factor in Fatal Snowmobile Crash

Speed has been determined as a factor in the latest snowmobile death.

Yesterday afternoon, Almaguin Highlands OPP was called to a crash on OFSC trail C105D near River Road in Joly Township.

The snowmobile drove onto the soft snow along the edge of the trail and vaulted off a mound of snow and into several trees and the Technical Traffic Collision Investigator determined that speed was a factor.

55-year-old Brian Bradley died from his injuries at the scene.

Police continue to investigate.
