A Woodbridge man is safe after his sled fell through the ice in Sundridge.
Almaguin Highlands OPP says the man was 1000 feet from shore on Lake Bernard yesterday morning when he and his sled went through the ice. The 30-year-old managed to pull himself out of the water and did not need any medical assistance.
Police are reminding everyone to always check ice conditions when travelling on lakes. Everyone is responsible for checking ice conditions before going out.
