A fund that has been provided to schools in Gravenhurst through town council has come to a close.
When Gravenhurst Power was purchased, Veridian signed an agreement with Gravenhurst to provide funding for five years for local schools.
That five years has come up and council has awarded the final amounts to KP Manson, Gravenhurst Public, Beechgrove and Gravenhurst High School.
The cheque presentation took place during Committee of the Whole on Tuesday afternoon at the Gravenhurst Municipal Office.
